This is mine keep looking to see it change

Post by gtinash »

HI all, been a member on both here and the OC for many years, I owned and restored a few mr2s in previous years, always end up selling them for something more practical and always end up with another one.

Recently picked up a Red rev1 from a mate who was going to scrap it, so here it is the one that skipped the scrappy.

The work so far

-A good clean and polish (it had been sat for 11 months)
-New discs and pads
-Fresh Oil, Anti-freeze, Plugs and filters
-Rev 3 Rear Lights
-JDM orange side lights
-Red and Black Super Advan Alloy wheels, 16x7JJ front and 16x8JJ rears, nicely wrapped 205/45/16 and 225/40/16 on toyo T1R rubbers
-Tein Lowering springs (arrived today, will fit tomorrow, weather permitting)
-Induction kit
-Bonnet gas struts
-Toad Alarm and Immobilizer
-Japspeed twin exit exhaust

that's it so far, got a few bits on the pipe line plus a few bits from previous mr2 projects, all awaiting to be fitted, will update as the changes take place.

As it was when I got it

thanks for the comments, still needs tidying up in places, but certainly has improved a lot, been for an MOT today and passed with no problems at all, after driving the Impreza for so long, had forgotten how much fun mr2s are

got some Tein lowering springs to fit, tint the windows, got a rev 3 and Greddy spoiler to be fitted, they will have to wait a bit as it needs to go the body shop to have the holes filled in and bodywork spruced up
