So tonight i did a test let both, i let them warm up normally, the red got to normal temp while the black only managed half in the same time, the relay was out on the black to stop the radiator kicking in on start up,ignition
any ideas?

Hi I have 2 rev 3 turbos one red one black my black one's radiator stays on has done for a while now, replaced 2 sensors and swapped relay but still stayed on.
So tonight i did a test let both, i let them warm up normally, the red got to normal temp while the black only managed half in the same time, the relay was out on the black to stop the radiator kicking in on start up,ignition
any ideas?

Not really sure what you mean about the rad stayed on (fan?) but if the sensors are OK and it's not reaching temp then swap the thermostat ? if it's stuck open you'll get this
