Looks like Medium Red Pearl (3H4)
The mod itself has been done before, MartG has one, Paul woods has done a few i think. That one does look neat though.
Cut & paste from my thread elsewhere:
Off came the bonnet
Marked out
And cut
Now for the other side
Welded
OK, not the biggest bonnet vent on the planet, but hopefully will aid cooling and reduce front end lift a little
Filled the sides ( styrene sheet and Isopon )
While that was setting, I removed the rad fans, and refitted my modified radiator clamps they now hold the rad in the same position as in a Mk1a. This should allow a little more upward airflow.
Isopon set time for the expanding foam filler
MartG, the only man in the world with an mr2 bonnet shape sprayed on to his garden as a unique grass feature. LOL
I like the idea.
I also like the mod and the good simple write up.
Nice one!
Frunk still perfectly useable, the vent dives into the front panel which has been chopped out to allow the airflow, so it has lost very little frunk space.
We are actually going to get this one moulded up, so you will be able to buy a FG insert that goes where the centre section of the bonnet is, making it relatively easier to DIY

The CFD plot on the first page of that thread clearly shows the low pressure area on the bonnet that a bonnet vent will remove, thus reducing front end lift at speed.
