Saw a comment in one of the threads that the aw11 version of that car won't be available until some time in August, so it's probably more a case of "Not yet in stock" rather than sold out. Will be keeping an eye on it and hopefully getting one once they're available.

Shame I'm highly unlikely to have one in time for JAE as there's supposed to be a RC car thing going on there this year.

I quite fancy one too. But I'd be too tempted to cut holes in it and fit a 4cyl RC aero engine to create a beast that would rival woodsports V8.

Has anyone contacted these guys? What about a group buy? Could save a lot on shipping!

I am also interested in one of these (already own 3 retro rare MR2 MK1 ones), but this looks nice and modern so I have contacted them and have asked a few questions, but for people who want one before JAE etc, I do not think it would be possible: (quote from Email sent by Abchobbyusa.Com)

I have also found out that is available from two websites (the one said above) and the Japanese website ABCHobby.com. From this website they say the kit comes with the following (quote from email sent to me:) "Thank you for your interest about this model... but the bodyshell in the kit is a clear one
come with decal, light buckets, spoiler, but untrimmed, unpainted, unbuilt.
LED bulbs not included (sold separately).
And, we do not provide Paint service."

Thanks and I will reply if I get anymore information with buying one/prices etc..

Ah, didn't realise that they are a local outfit, well local-ish...

List price is just over ¥16000 but a couple of the mail order hobby shops here are doing it at around the ¥12,000 mark. This is just for the chassis and body, does not include motor, radio, servos, battery, charger etc. etc.

ABC themselves also sell the bodies individually for about ¥4000 for their other models but the AW11 isn't listed yet.

If people are interested in a group buy the body would probably be the way to go as they'll be relatively easy/light to post.

I'll keep my eyes open for when it arrives in stock.

What is the wheelbase in mm? I have a 1:10 chassis, maybe it fits.

From the quick reading around it looks like it's a 1/12th chassis. I've got a 1/12th car as well as various 1/10th stuff but I'll most likely get a complete car (plus maybe an extra body or 2).

Will definitely be painting one as a replica of the track car
