, so i immediately started looking for a tubby clip to drop in.
Found one and bought it from an mr2 breaker, spoke to James about fitting it for me and was given a great price for the labour. So dropped my car down at 3s and left knowing i'd return in a week to a tubby, when the engine was delivered i recieved a message from James saying that the engine was a mess and he wouldnt feel comfortable fitting it.
I went down to see for myself at James' request to look at this abomination, and low and behold it was a complete dog!. So had the engine collected...even that took a while for the seller to arrange, and James begun looking for a rev 3 clip for me which took less than a week (he works fast) and the following week my car was ready to be picked up. The first drive confirmed what he told me on the phone, he had found a fantastic engine! Throughout all this James has been incredibly patient with storing the old engine until pick up and really helpful and just a really nice guy to deal with.
My car will not be going to any other garage other than 3S and i've been raving about them to every owner i see and havent stopped grinning yet.
