Recommended cambelt change on Turbo

Iam going to look at a Turbo tomorrow, but it hasnt had the cambelt done, the guy selling it says 'it doesnt need it'.
Its on 86k miles and was wondering when is the recommended time to change?

Unless its been recently changed and the guy can prove it i would ask him to either change it or reduce the price to reflect the fact thats it needs doing. It could never have been done for all you know.

It needs to be done at 100,000km (about 60,000miles).

well, mileage was 133,000 km and it hadnt been done....
bodywork was scratched to bits, paint damage to the roof, dent in boot, and alarm wouldnt unarm...

shame really, i travelled from liverpool all the way to kent and it was in poor condition, although it was a Rev 4 turbo and was up for £3000

Cambelt should've been done TWICE, it's 100,000km or 5 years - whichever is sooner.
