[Mk2] [NA] radiator hose removal

Can someone tell me an easy way to remove the inlet and outlet hoses from my mk2 mr2 radiator please I've got the clips off but the hoses are very tight and awkward to remove? I have considered cutting them out and replacing.

Pour boiling water over them, then dry them, then put some rubber gloves on, then don't just try to pull them off - twist them off
