You must be taking the p1$$

2 PEOPLE PER CAR = £1,250  OR 4 PEOPLE PER CAR = £1,500

If jou have booked a ticket for this you must be mad. You will still have all your fuel to pay for on top of that aswell!!

Cancel it man, you can do the trip with 2 people for aroung £500 including everything and even get more laps in.

Thats so not worth the money :?

You're not gonna get it a hell of a lot cheaper than that, once you take everything into account, sure we could probably shave a hundred quid off each, but there won't be the camaraderie of 250 cars going across europe and we'd have to find the hotels every night rather than just being able to relax and concentrate on the driving.

It's not just the ring though, it's 6 days, with 5 days worth of hotels, full breakdown cover, mechanics available, eurotunnel crossings, full on party on the last day.

I'm sure you could do the Gumball rally for a lot less than £10 grand but that's not really the point is it?

ye i know its for 6 days but you can still do it for 6 days for £500 including hotels, food, petrol, laps etc....

Its your choice fella but from my experience its far too much money, they will be making about 50% proffit on you. :(

I just dont like to see people to get ripped off thats all :?

From Memory... This Destination Nurburgring thing WAS NOT just a week long trip to the Nurburgring - that would be pointless, as the ring is never open 7-days!

It was a group road trip, staying in various points around Europe.. Ending up at the Nurburgring for the weekend... Hence DESTINATION nurburgring.

I think it was more like a Gumball but without the speeding.
( I got a flyer from some pretty girlies at Japfest too)

Still, If your main reason for going is the Nurburgring, then just go on your
own - Unless you live way north, it's going to be around 4 tanks of petrol there and back, plus a gallon a lap + the ticket. Don't worry about the camaraderie, there are so many Brits out there on open weekends, they installed a ticket machine for RHD cars!

Paul.
Fourth trip this year will be September.

PS, you would be surprised what you may have to pay for a good hotel in most European cities… Nurburg village is comparatively cheap!

I know it's not 5 days at the ring, it's driving across europe too which we wanted to do, especially the alps.
