Youre FCD is basically a resistor which friggs the signal to the ecu.

3 wires, 1 from the sensor, 1 to the ecu.

the remaining must be an earth.

To be honest, the easiest way is to just unplug the small vac line going to the map sensor.

On a Rev 1/2, it serves the purpose of dash guage and overboost protection.

Be advised though, this removes the overboost protection.

If all your vac lines are secured correctly, then its unlikely to come apart and cause overboosting problems.
