Another Monday update!

Cheque from insurance co went in the post today.

Still waiting on the transport company to give me a firm date for collection, should be sometime this week, hopefully Wednesday.

Lower cross member and replacement CC rad arrived to SBits today, new bumper should be there tomorrow.

Bought a UK number plate holder today. My JDM one disapeared into thin air during the accident, did think about getting another JDM one but thought may as well go with a UK one to maximise airflow to the CC rad.

BBS Wheel is being shipped today from Cali. Located original BBS gold paint from a company in Germany so will be repainting all four wheel centres. Would like to refurb the lips too but diamond polishing and relaquering is bloody expensive!!

Its coming together, slowly but surely. :)

Well its been a couple of weeks so time for an update.

Biggest news is the chassis is straight(phew), and I'm having the whole car resprayed(yay) :D

Off she goes

Arrival

All stripped down

Dodgy camber on the front offside wheel was traced to a bu88ered wheel bearing and a bent top mount.

New bumper and lower x-member

X-member fitted

and POR51 treated

New wings test fitted

Headlights back in and bumper test fitted

All naked and ready for painting

So yep, she left for the painters this morning, hopefully not much longer and I'll have my baby back in showroom fettle.

Massive thanks to SBits for all their work, advice and help along the way. Couldn't deal with a nicer bloke than Pete :thumleft:

I'm doing better than that - I'm nicking them and tying Marf's c/c up with string

Thanks for your comments guys - job has gone to plan perfectly so far. Good job that deer wasn't a few inches taller!

I know the first thing to check when I arrive to pick it up then! [-X

John regarding the brackets I spoke to Ed again recently, if you wanted a set just get in touch, he'll make a new set for you on the car, and from those be able to make more for others without needing their car. :)
