ok me and my brother resprayed my car recently, this is probab;y my biggest DIY mod
we're not painters by any stretch of imagination, i just thought, feck it, it's bound to look better than the crappy pink colour it is now, i have about a hundred pics of the respray but i'll just stick up a few!!!
oh, it was done in his shed using a compressor that was about 70 years old!!!

we didn't touch it, i intend to flatten it a bit and buff it, to be honest it wasn't too hard, the most difficult thing is keeping the crap off the car, it was done in a shed so there was all manner of crap floating around, we were VERY limited for space too so it only got a couple of coats

I started with the top half of the steering cowling and moulded on a cheap £3 52mm gauge pod..

Then when it was perfectly smooth I sent it away to be flocked..

It allows for full steering column adjustment in any direction without interference.

My favourite mods are the chargecooler, rear diffuser and temperature monitoring. I did the temperature monitoring myself but can't claim the others as my handywork.

i have recently sold my polished rocker cover to kongaroo on an exchange, i fell in love with the red ferrai crackle rev2 rocker cover,so decided i would set about getting my very special contact to try and track down some extreamly rare black marinello crackle paint it come out exsactly how i wanted and decided i would share some pics what do you lot think

hey buddy i managed to get the paint through a very special contact it marinello who supply ferrari, its damn exspensive and extreamly hard to get hold of the fact i managed to get hold of some for the 2nd is remarkable, theres a special and exspensive nosel that neads to be bought for the spray gun to be able to achive this affect even with the right nosel its very difficult to get this affect but imo was worth the ball ache

^^^ been there and tried that cheapo paint you dont get the same affect trust me it looked awful then you wana try getting the stuff off i gave up an through the cover away
