ok me and my brother resprayed my car recently, this is probab;y my biggest DIY mod

we're not painters by any stretch of imagination, i just thought, feck it, it's bound to look better than the crappy pink colour it is now, i have about a hundred pics of the respray but i'll just stick up a few!!!

oh, it was done in his shed using a compressor that was about 70 years old!!!

here you go!!!

we didn't touch it, i intend to flatten it a bit and buff it, to be honest it wasn't too hard, the most difficult thing is keeping the crap off the car, it was done in a shed so there was all manner of crap floating around, we were VERY limited for space too so it only got a couple of coats :thumleft:

So I made this...

I started with the top half of the steering cowling and moulded on a cheap £3 52mm gauge pod..

Then when it was perfectly smooth I sent it away to be flocked..

..and this is it fitted (sorry, best pic I have at the moment

It allows for full steering column adjustment in any direction without interference.

My favourite mods are the chargecooler, rear diffuser and temperature monitoring. I did the temperature monitoring myself but can't claim the others as my handywork.

hey buddy i managed to get the paint through a very special contact it marinello who supply ferrari, its damn exspensive and extreamly hard to get hold of the fact i managed to get hold of some for the 2nd is remarkable, theres a special and exspensive nosel that neads to be bought for the spray gun to be able to achive this affect even with the right nosel its very difficult to get this affect but imo was worth the ball ache

heres some more things iv been working on a GTO rocker cover and a rev3 inlet mannifold and throttle body iv just this min put together
