'96 P Rev 4 GTS Turbo Blue £3500 O.I.R.O

Post by mr2ash »

Hi all,

The day has finally come to put one of the all time greatest cars up for for sale.

I bought the Mr2 back in March 2007 and not a day has gone by that this beauty hasn't started first time and put a smile on the face with every drive.

But with a new job comes new problems, I now have to commute 80+ miles round trip everyday. Sitting in traffic jams and driving through the city isn't what this car is all about.

I'm sure i'll miss some stuff off so I'll put my mobile on the bottom of this so you can give me a call with any questions. The spec is as follows:-

Carribean Blue MkII Mr2 Turbo GTS Tintop
Mileage: 141696km Still in KM (87,400)
remapped Mines ECU
Apex N1 catback system
HKS Induction kit
Greddy Turbo Timer
NGK platinum plugs

Wheels:
Kei RS5 Hyper 17" finish in Gun mental Grey
Toyo Proxies 225/40/17
2 New Rear

EBC Greenstuff pads all round
Braided Stainless Steel Brake Lines

Audio:
Alpine Headunit Mp3/WMA cda-9812RB 60x4w
Alpine 5 1/2 Front speakers 40rms

Tax: 31/03/10
MOT: April 2011 (Will come with 12 months)
Cambelt was done at 100k

Goodstuff:

The front valance has been resprayed to touch up any stone chips last month. So it looks a treat when it's polished and gleaming in the sun. Also I will include the wheels which were on the vehicle when i bought it. It came with 16" rims on the front and 17" on the rear.
Original Mr2 Mats
Mr2 Chrome Door sills
Toyota OEM wind deflectors
Original Flare.

I have an MBC, boost-gauge which is currently not fitted to the car but will be included in the sale.

Bad Stuff:

It coming upto 5km since it's last oil change so will need one within the next month.

I was told when I bought the car it had a brand new £1500 racing clutch, so that is the reason it sounds metalic. It has no problem selecting gears and never has. But when I had it MOT'd in October the mechanic said that it sounds like it needs a new clutch push plate. I'm not sure, but I'm willing for that to be negotiated out of the asking price.

I will be as open and honest and the sale as I possibly can, I'm not in any rush what so ever. I'm currently driving a delightful Corsa SXI haha so i'm only driving the Mr2 for fun. I wouldn't mind doing a p/x for something like a Mk3 Golf GT TDI.

Come have a look, put offers over I'm a pretty laid back about the sale.

I think an asking price may kick off interest for you. It's definately a nice looking car.

Enginebay, boot and interior pics would give a better impression of the car as a hole and how it is maintained :-k

Appreciate the imput guys, I'll take some shots of the engine bay and the boot and get them posted a bit later on today.

The pictures will show later that the dash and cloth seats show no sign age. The mats however are getting a bit tired, maybe a carpet shampoo may sort that out. The under side of the front lip is a bit scuffed, but you can only see that from when you are on the ground looking up. Besides that there are no sratches, dints or imperfections. The n/s and o/s alloys have minor kerbing, but that is no means a detterant. I like to be as open and honest about the car so there is only positives for when people come and see it.

Draven, i'll see you on sun mate
