LSDs for any Gen 7 Celica/Elise which uses a C-series box ought to be fully compatible with the MR2 C-series and will mostl likely be more freely available.

elise/celica lsd has larger output splines for half shafts therefore not compatible.

Just a thought, I've read some where that all UK MK3's come with LSD's as standard, so wouldn't it be possible to swap the bell housings on the gearbox over, and fit to a Mk1?
I think then all I'd need is Mk2 N/A shafts - is this correct?
