where to buy standard air filter

Post by Nimbus »

been slowly putting my SC back to standard, and one of the jobs was to replace the somewhat noise hks sponge filter with a standard one.

Got all the bits fitted, so went into Halfrauds today to pick up a new air filter element, and low an behold, they no longer seem to stock them ! :(

where are people getting them from, or is this a main dealer item now ?

I think you can get a K&N filter that fits in the original airbox

Any decent motorfactors ought to be able to get you one. I've used Camberley Autofactors and PartCo in the past - no complaints so far.

Can't you just get one from Toyota? I bought one for my NA last year for around £12 I think. Is the SC air filter different?
