ahh some neat exhaust popping up! amazing how on the mr2 the exhaust route is so short and essentially straight through but all the exhaust sound different, even though there are hundreds of variations

@Baker, bet that Tanabe sounds the nuts! they always seem to produce an amazing tone.

Oops, just realised that's a different exhaust anyway to the Hyper. Think yours is near identical to the SARD version

yeah its on my n/a, i have had to replace the entry pipe though as it was made from mild steel and was totally rusted through, it had been patched up so many times!! got given it for free though, which is nice!

ya.they go well with the berk downpipe.does anyone know whats the best exhaust for a 2?is there any particular one thats proven the best?ive heard its the dep 2 pro.but jus want to hear other peoples opinions/experiences??

i wouldn't really say there is a 'best', it's all down to personal preference.

something like my buddyclub will be pretty hard to beat on outright exhaust flow (combined with a decat) but will bleed your ears to death lol

all exhausts will be less restrictive then the oem but obviously the quiter the exhaust the more silencing/wire wool etc has been put in... so in theory creating more of a restriction but i cant imagine there's much between any of them. possible 2-3bhp but that will never be noticeable once you take in account transmission loss and rolling road resistance blah blah blah lol

go with what you like is the best bet

I've got a TRD on my Turbo.

ive got the fujitsubo ti, and its a nice exhaust. sounds good when thumping it through the revs, but fairly quiet when tooling. ive added a dp as well, and it really sounds good. probably not the most free flowing, but its been on since it was imported 6 years ago, and still looks new. does anyone know how much of the pipe is titanium?
