[Mk2] [NA] clutch adjustments

Post by greengti »

Hi

The bite point on my rev1 mr2 clutch t is very high. I have been reading stuff on this forum and it looks like the MR has a hydraulic clutch.

It is possible to adjust the clutch bite on a hydraulic clutch like you would with a ‘clutch cable’.

If it is possible to adjust how is it done? If its not possible does a high bight point mean the clutch is coming to the end of its life?

Any input very much appreciated?

Thanks

This has been mentioned a couple of times on recent posts

Assuming that the pedal height is correct (this is set at the factory and will never change)
And assuming the amount of free-play on the pedal is within spec (again - this is set at manufacture and is unlikely to change).

There is NO means of adjusting the clutch - The biting point cannot be 'altered' by any adjustment.
