It is possible Jay. Although there may be a small charge for the upgrade (but not the whole fee). It's also subject to numbers confirmed onto the National Circuit.

Hi Jay,

Just Spoke to Jonny.

Sign up for the Novice group on the Club circuit and then on the day see how you're getting on. If you are boared/decide to "upgrade" you can no Probs (subject to spaces of course we don't want to over crown either layout). The "upgrade" will cost £20 on the day from Lunch time onwards. If you want to "upgrade" before lunch it will cost £30.

There are no garages as such at Anglesey. The scrutineering area has some covered bays which could be used as garages, but they are usually given up to open top cars in case of rain. If regular cars park up in them and it starts to rain, you are obliged (just out of the kindness of your own heart) to offer the garage up to a Caterham/Westfield type car. Saying that there aren't many currently signed up for the day and the circuit has it's own weather patern. The Met Office can not predict for the circuit at all.

We've driven to the circuit in torential rain, but at the circuit it's been clear & dry. A few years ago it was the same with snow blizards all over the country, but as you got close to the circuit the skys cleared and it was dry

Although there have also been times when it's the other way around too

Bring a ground sheet or something to put your stuff down and cover with. Hopefully we will all park together so someone should always be around. Also trackdayers don't tend to be of the theiving type

If it's only going to be us lot above, then it might be cheaper/better to go in with a BaT booking. If there are any more, then I'll continue to explore a large cottage for us all

i know the track is still quite newish so i imagine it is quite forgiving on tyres?

I needed numbers and sadly MR2's weren't showing interest. In order to keep the voucher offer valid for those MR2's who had shown interest, I had no choice
I had mentioned from day 1 that it would be opened to other cars if interest from MR2's was poor
