I just installed my HKS EVC V, the solenoid I mounted on the same screw/bracket as the charcoal canister seems a bit cosy/warm around that area and I'm abit worried about the pipe going to the turbo which is resting against the turbo coolant pipe

(which seems hot), is this going to cause any problems? can I heat shield the pipe somehow?

I cant get above 11psi/76kPa, I believe this is the VSV that needs disconnecting, is that correct? under the car near the manifold right?

Assuming I disconnect the VSV and all is well, I'm running a Stage 1 Hybrid CT26

(supposebly rated at 240-350), what would a relatively safe boost level be? 11-13psi? the HG is stock, I'm hoping to get that replaced soon and uprate the stock IC.

My brain is telling me to not even bother disconnecting the VSV for now and just run at 11psi until I get supporting mods, would you agree?

Thanks guys
