Have just insured with Norwich Union for £540 fully comp. Am 25 3yr NCB, live outside Birmingham and declared 3 points.

Could give them a go, they might quote you happy

Certainly cheaper than Tesco or Egg, but they weren't too bad either

just have this niggling thought that if I rip out the wiring, then the car will never get out of the garage again.

Still in the garage...

I am currently with Norwich Union & its jus shy of £900 even @ 31yrs old, clean licence & 5years NCB! There's no justice man! Aren't there any affiliated or recommended Insurance agents from IMOC?

Guess i'l just wait & see what NU renewal is. :? :? :?

Harsh fella, must be the postcode!! My bro moved into centre of Birmingham and his insurers slapped £300 on his premium straight away!! Barstards!!  ](*,)

haha that's bad!

i'm paying £1032 FC with admiral with 2 years NCB and i'm only 22 :) 23 in march so might drop a bit? but i doubt by much

grab a jap car mag and go to the ad pages loads of insurance companies! i had to insure mine quick and being pretty standard didn't seem to matter who i went with so said ok to admiral but will call around come insurance time again!
admiral are ok with small mods but didn't like the idea of messing with the engine when i enquired.

Try Performance Direct, they were by far the cheapest for my modified MK1 £234 35 with 8 yrs ncb, would have been a lot less, but for putting my young lady on the policy....but hey, the pro's out weigh the cons!!!
