I have a few cracks that i am going to fill in my bomex bumper, will it be easier/stronger if i make these cracks into holes before attacking them with fibreglass ?

you need to dremel the crack out before fibreglassing yes.

aswell as drilling a hole in either side of the crack to stop it going further
