scratching for ideas

Post by Dan23 »

right iv only owned mt mr2 for about a month now, and im really starting to dislike the veilside kit (so so the front than anything), so my plan is over the next few weeks/months to change the overall look of the car, but being new i dont really know what options i have, the reason i dont like the VS kit so much now is its to look at me and all thought you might say well why did i buy it, at 1st i liked the look at me look, but its starting to look uglier and uglier every day, the only issue i have is cos the car is not a original colour what ever i get will need re spraying but in a way thats less of a issue cos it means i can get 2nd hand parts in any colour and have my friend spry it for a good price.

or would i be better off selling the car and getting a blanker canvas mr2?

here is the car for people that havent seen it yet

Sell it and buy something standard, which you can modify once a need arises.

Dude, I could barely understand your text. Try using a few full stops and restructure your words into something that makes sense.

The Vs kit is so subtle  starting to look dated now tho IMHO

SARD MC4 GT11 or Do-Luck might work with the rest of the kit??

Deffo keep your car tho mate if it is in good nick overall, the way the market is right now shifting a VS kitted car might not be the easiest thing in the world :thumleft:

its the front bumper that does it (IMO) standard front bumper with bomex lip would work with the rest of the car i think :-k

as far as i am aware the front wings are standard . by the looks of it i think you would need a standard bumper with the uk bumper strips ( the trim that goes between the bumper and wing)

This is what you need matey like mine -

Standard front bumper and a Bomex UAD130 lip ( i think it is )
.
Would go well with the sills/air intake shape on yours ( IMO of course  )
