Can't argue with free stuff but you need a US account as they're still charging for it on the UK PSN? (and be quick as it's a limited offer)

Not sure if it's flopped and that's why it's free but i think it's less than a month old.

I've had US & Jap accounts since i got mine, There's not a huge difference apart from US having more downloadable video content, Game demos sometimes appear on the US site first but UK does pretty well in comparison. I got the Resistance add-on maps off the US site for free, Don't think the offer ever happen on the UK one.

Very rarely you'll find price willy-ups where the US seems a few quid cheaper so a better option if it's something you want (like the Warhawk DLC)

A couple of Americans on my friends list have it

They got an e-mail off Sony with a promotion code to download it.

I don't think that works? I've only been sent the promotion code for Pacific Rift and i passed it onto a mate and it didn't work for him but i'll ask.

u dont do it like that
you have to give your friend your email and password for your psn account so they can log into your account on their ps3, then when they do that they go to your download history find the thing they want to download and start downloading it, after that they dont need your account again

I thought they stopped that ages ago too as peeps were buying something off the PSN and becuase once you pay for something you get 5 chances to download it you could put your log-in/id details into a friends machine so they'd get it for free but devs started linking the original download to the PS3's MAC address so it wouldn't work on other machines. We tried it ages ago with a couple of games and the Warhawk DLC and the stuff would install but you couldn't access it.

Any downloaded data stays dormant for any user until installed.

Set off the download on your US account then switch back to your regular UK ID, The game will continue to download once it's started under any log-in. Then once finished downloading install it under your UK account.

EDIT, Is it locked to your US account? I though all game data was accessible by anyone?

I have just switched back to my normal user and have seen its in my download history so thats awesome and i can just install it to that profile

The sixaxis moves make it more trouble than it's worth i think, The PC original had an innovative mouse control system and i don't think the pad works quite as well, Shame

not sure what to make of the game its abit odd controls are abit weird almost Wii ish with the extra shaking and throwing the controller about

Im liking the first proper fighting use of the LBP motion engine though

meh for free i shouldnt complain
