There are around 5 known Super Edition's in the UK.

Of those that we know of, this is the most original Super Edition you are likely to find.

This is one of 273 Super Editions produced as the final swansong for the MK1 before it was replaced by the probe.

As a result it has every conceivable extra that one would expect and a few more which were specific to the Super Edition, which includes the paint colour, Midnight Blue.

1989 Super Edition in Midnight Blue

(98000km, dash is still in km/h), all the usual SC including those befitting of a Super Edition.

Extras including mirrored t-bar glass, electric retractable mirrors, climate control with working A/C, of course it retains all of the original SE extras.

t-bar bags and shades.

Stereo is an unmolested original toyota double din rad/cass with front AUX input

(perfect for music players), speakers are some drop-in Longmill dual-drive units.

Bodywork wise it is very good.

The only slight issue is rust around the rear arch returns

(under the bumper).

The arches themselves are rust free.

This is quite possibly the most original Super Edition in the UK.

Everything that has been replaced on this car

(which is not a lot) has been done so with OEM parts from Toyota only.

We have serviced the car ourselves and believe me, what we don't know about SC's isn't worth knowing!

We have owned this car since summer 2002.

It has never been on track and has only been driven on the road.

It has had refurbed rear calipers a couple of years ago IIRC.

We had done about 38000 kmh's since getting the car in 2002 as it was on 60000kmh's when we bought it.

It had not been in the UK that long when we bought it

<1 year.

Around 3 years ago the whole of the car was undersealed by
www.chassisclean.co.uk This process takes 3 days at a cost of

£280.

Our reason for selling is simply because we do not currently use it and cannot justify running a third car for the amount of use it will get.

It has just passed an MOT with no advisories and that was after sitting under a car cover for 18 months.

Price is non-negotiable at

£3250.

The rust:

This is what the engine bay looked like a few years ago.

It had been laquered, but now the laquer is peeling off so it needs a bit of elbow grease to sort it out.
