It was nice meeting some new faces.

We've put a few pictures up.
See you all again soon.

Mark and Lyn. :thumleft:

Great photos :thumleft:

It was a great day out and thankfully the sun came out and warmed things up later.

Great to meet some new people and see a few MR2s I'd not seen before too.

I think either the scale on Google Maps or my maths were pretty messed up - we had loads of space left with 20 cars on the plot - could have fitted another 20 with ease!

Thanks to Adam for organising it!

Sorry I did not reply to the post Saturaday, I was at a wedding all day.

Thank you to everyone that made it yesterday to Duxford. We had a good turn out of just over 20 car, even though we could have probably fitted 50 on our plot. Might want to work on the maths a little jmachling. :eye:

Hope everyone enjoyed them selves.

xanthus400, Hope you find some new lights, thanks for coming along even though you were unable to bring the 2.

See you all soon at Japfest :thumleft:

Hmm...30 x 40 = 1200 m.sq, not 120   I guess that's why it was kinda roomy...

Good job LimeyMk1's coming to the JAE pre-meet too on Sat or who knows what size plot we'll end up with if it's up to me #-o

Good to meet everyone yesterday and thanks for everyone who collected their clothing etc. We have sold a fair few polo's and fleece jackets now so we should be looking the part at all the major shows this year! :thumleft:

Was a cracking day, plenty to see and do, my son Alfie really enjoyed it.

Thanks to John & Yana for entertaining him as well.

It was a good day, thanks to Scott for the hat and taking the time to show me around his car. Very nice it looks too.

Thanks also to Crazylegs and Jinxy for their hospitality.

Hopefully next time I should be able to bring my own car, one year should be enough time to get it fixed !

TSR-2 XR222 The only one that flew supersonic . I remember doing a research project when i was in the forces about this the top speed is still classified but on the only supersonic flight the Pilot put one engine up to Max dry thrust and the other into reheat (afterburner) so only one afterburner and it OUTRUN the English Electric Lightning! which incidentally have been clocked at over Mach 3 and that was only with one engine on reheat.

should have never been scrapped such a beautiful aircraft

That’s the Labour government for you, all that money gone to waste.
My mum was up in the little tiger moth bi-plane, (yellow with silver nose). It was strange watching it taking off with the head wind, almost looked like it was hovering.
