Sorry for bringing up an oldish thread, but this caught my eye as i live in notts and some german kid came over a couple of months back and killed this nottingham lad after he had killed him or something on world of warcraft. lol.. so be careful out there boys and girls.. it aparantly can happen.

Ah yes, the USA. Where teenage nutters have guns.
Fortunately a very small proportion have ventured outside their home state and an even smaller number have passports.
And the ones who have heard of England think it's somewhere slightly offshore of Long Island........

was a good read lol.I had one ask me ,do you know the queen,and we all apparently live in london.Another favorite they throw at me is ,speak english which is very funny.Due to my black country accent lol.

They think we all speak like upperclass,probably to do with most of the toff films that britain seems to make.

they really are a breed unto themselves,but do mainly find that it is pre 20 yearolds as they are still in school at that age(I think).

It is reassuring to know that I am not the only one who encounters a lot of idiots on XBL.

Some of the more competitive games earn you a lot of abuse. I used to get some pretty nasty childish messages from people who I beat soundly on Soul Calibur, or those who I kicked after they had pwned me for half a dozen matches in a row (there are only so many times you can get owned by far superior players before you want to find others mroe at your own level).

It is a real shame as when XBL works, it works well. There are some sound players out there and it is great fun when you get a group at the same sort of skill level who are all good sports. It just gets ruined usually by screeching American kids or people with attitude problems.
