Found it dissconnected in the trunk of my car a while after i bought my car. I have found the connecting wire for it, its beneath the steeringwheel to the right. I dont have a clue what it does and nobody else seems to do either.

(Does it have anything to do with the stock alarm/keyless entry, i also found an lock/unlock remote in my car but it does not do anything.)

Personally I dont know but try putting any i.d. numbers into google and it should shed some light on it.

The picture is clearly a radio reciever.
If you have a remote that came with the car... then that is likely it.

I know the keless entry on early cars was with a box under one of the seats... The Mk2 MR2 was such low volume that they could easily have changed design at some point
