Any suggestions for an upgraded battery for a Mr2 turbo?

I swapped mine with a Halfords CB005 which is a 510cca 62ah

fills up the tray no complaints so far mind you I have a battery disconnector I disconnect the battery when car is in the garage

You can get cheaper on Ebay, had 2 no problems

these are better for the positioning to take the connector off

096 fits with a spacer underneath. Big heavy xxxxx though.

Yup! I did it with a bit of cutting to the battery tray and a DIY tie-down bar, while madbasshunter used a 12mm spacer instead forums/viewtopic.php?p=1663981#1663981

I put a Bosch S5 008 in mine - 77Ah capacity with 780A cold cranking current. Sure it's a little heavier, but at least the extra weight is at the front :lol:
