The chap who bought my Supra has the same issue, it never went off at all in all my years of ownership but he's having a nightmare with it.

more likly to be the bonnet sensor
Re: Toad alarm, A1606 - keeps going off
You can check to see what is setting it off, could be a bad earth, faulty sensor etc.
If you follow the instructions in the owners manual it will tell you how to find out the code.
If all that fails you can adjust it's sensitivity.

Yeah when you disarm the alarm after it going off the LED should flash a number of times, the number tells you which sensor it was that triggered the alarm. It will most likely be the engine lid switch or the bonnet switch. Usually fitters don't use waterproof switches and you only need a bit of water to get in them to short to ground and then the alarm goes off.

Mine keeps going off too, i double click the arm button which disables the interior sensors, hasn't gone off since.

"If the alarm system has been triggered, it will flash the indicators and chirp the siren 4 times when you disarm. When the ignition is next turned on, the sensor which triggered the alarm will be indicated by the number of LED flashes"
2 flashs - optional sensors
3 doors (-)
4 boot/bonnet
5 doors (+)
6 ultrasonics
7 ignition
from the Ai606 user guide
not sure what they mean by the doors + & - though. hope that helps, it has stopped me pulling my hair out!

The cabin - the ultrasonics are the 2 things that look like tiny microphones sat either on your dash or at the top of your A pillar.
