BUMP FROM THE DEAD! Man, there's a crapload of conflicting information about these cars all over the internet. I'm trying to pin down the what's what on the three remaining 222D prototypes once and for all. Question for LimeyMk1: Was the black car with the red Toyota decal on the windscreen RWD wit...

Re: Using Parts For Sale section for breaking cars :-(
So he has a total 22 for sale posts starting in January this year, half of which are on the 1st page. Personally I don't think it's all that bad (apart from the bumps), but I will drop him a PM and see if he's actually breaking a car.

Re: Engine Does Not Tick Over When Hot
Or fit a manual choke then loop off the feed lines to the throttle body as, other than the filler cap, that's the highest point that the coolant reaches in the engine bay. Makes bleeding the coolant a lot easier and the air isn't heated up as much (debatable benefit).

You're thinking about the fuel level sender I think Lauren, that's accessable from inside the car. The pump is a tank out (or at least dropped a fair bit) job.

Re: Mk1 Fuel pump
There are a couple of ways to test it. You can either bridge B+ and FP with a piece of wire on the diagnostic port and listen for it to start up (ignition on but not attempting to start the car) or remove the cold start injector from the inlet manifold, pop it in a jam jar and turn the engine over a...

Could be a TPS issue (diagnostic test will bring that up) or during the servicing a vacuum hose may have been bumped and split.

If not the thickness ranges for each number you have are listed in the manual I put the link to. I've bee...
