BMW 330cd
Yes indeed - a complete break from the norm on here. After a look at MR2 V6 options I wondered whether I might be better of part exing the 318ci for a 330ci. Speedy, I haven't tried moving the seat forward yet. I will try but that could just leave my knees behind the wheel collar instead

Cloth seats in this particular example. Knees were rubbing against the steering wheel. Too close for comfort and rather dangerous in an accident really!
I am probably a freeak of nature, but I'm definitely long in the leg!

Great stuff! I now live in Birmingham so this would be ultra convenient, cheers Rogue, will give you a heads up.
The last mk3 I tried over the weekend was a W reg, purely as it was nearby. It was marginally better as you say Charlced, but only just.

Interesting, never thought of that Mr Rogue. You don't happen to have one to hand with a race seat fitted by any chance?

How to fit in a Mk3 if you're 6ft2
Before you say "ah Swiss I am 6ft2 and fit easily in" well, I don't  . I think I am very long in the leg as my knees are uncomfortably close againt the bottom of the steering wheel. Anyone have the same difficulties? I'd love to get one but simply can't fit in the thing! I don't have ...

Re: Roy ashbys wheelie popping mr2
I actually have the money for 'something' like this and I'm in the market for a new 2 but that amount of power is simply mental and strictly for the quarter mile. It is an extremely niche market you're aiming at... agree with others about stripping it to a certain degree.
