Re: Where to buy race livery/decals

Make sure you use a good quality vinyl (Avery was recommended to me) I did the whole car for Le Mans with a friend who had a vinyl cutting machine. Be aware also you'll need a heat gun and a squeegee type thing. If you choose to do it DIY. I'm gonna redo my graphics next year in some new way I reckon!

Re: Failing emissions Test even with a replaced Cat? Diagnose?

The most often given piece of advice is find an MOT station who are willing to be helpful, by allowing you to get it tested the minute you turn up. Take the car out and get it hot . With both of my MR2s I always needed this in order to get them through. TBH I was always struggling but you get there ...

Had these on the Beams. They are so perfect for MR2s.

Re: Twin Charged 3S-GTZE

Cool idea. Turbo into centrifugal. Is that how Toni's Mk1 twin charger works...? Also an interesting mounting option for the supercharger. As I almost went the distance with building the Rotrex (centrifugal) Beams, this was the blueprint — http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/150x100q90/23/sdc1228822890...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Speedo problem- With VIDEO

Oh lawd this reminds me of my old MR2s. xxxx always jumping about or erratic sweeping of dial.

I thought it came down to an earthing problem in the end. Mine didn't look exactly the same as yours, but worth checking out.

Good luck.

I think mr Libertine has license to be annoyed regardless!

On the other hand perhaps some more foresight with regards to contingency / timing next time.... Major suspension overhaul before road trip? Oops.

I hope you get it sorted out in time. And I hope you like the coilovers too!!

Re: Andy's Mk2 - TRD1 Back to the original

I prefer the Volks and those spacers are paper weights IMO. But absolute credit to you for restoring this to factory / TRD spec, brilliant. This will be an icon amongst the MR2 community! Incidentally it was me that bought your supra brakes! :D A shame you wouldn't consider a turbo swap and utilise ...

Red rev3 Brixton Rd - Monday 14th

saw my first London MR2!

Any chance it was someone on here? A standard looking MR2, standard spoiler anyway. Couldn't see the wheels unfortunately.
