Going to be replacing the oil in my rev 2 turbo gearbox during a service.

I've got 3 bottles of mtf 94 that cost me a few quid going unused in the garage. Is it OK to use this and if so will 3l be enough?

Checked this morning and the battery is at 12.5v. Alarm was left off and car unlocked (locked away in garage). Got a new amp coming today so will wire that in and recheck in the morning.
Then if all OK will try again with alarm on.

Anyway of telling if its got a metal head gasket without taking it apart?

it comes up with 10w 40 semi synth.

I did read somewhere to use 5w 30 fully synth.

looks like 10w40 semi is the one to use then.

My turbo is currently running 0.8bar using an aftermarket boost controller.

I believe everything else is stock (K&n filter only and stainless exhaust).

Whst the most I can run reliably please?

My new rev2 turbo is due an oil change. Im also hoping this will fix the oil leak it has too (im hoping for filter).

Ive read conflicting info on the net on what oil to use.

What do you guys recommend?
