Rev 3's were 173/4 bhp and Pre rev 3 were between 156 and 160 if you mean the 3SGE engine.
What people dont realise is that the rev 1 and 2's are half a second quicker to 60 than the later models. Not that this particularly matters but it makes me happier

Re: Interesting MR2!
Shame - everything looks ok apart from the whole light section and the handlebar spoiler. Some people have no taste!

Re: Carbon rear center panel
Are you sure you want to get that - it looks really tacky in my opinion - very home made. If your gonna touch the rev1/2 lights I think the rev 3 setup is the only option.
I guess if your cable release goes then you will be needing an axe to get in the boot.

Re: IMOC logo competition
Excellent news - very up to date and funky sticker that will look miles better than any other clubs logo. Quick question: Could we have a sticker option with the white as transparent (except text hugging border round the text) so it blends into the car a bit more? That would be great but i will orde...

Need your thoughts on choice of Oil.....
Im hopefully doing my oil change tomorrow - I have a 1993 3S-GE that is on 93K miles. Im thinking that it may be worth getting a slightly thicker oil than the recommended 15W 40 to make it a tiny bit quieter.
Any advice on grade or if I should go fully synthetic would be most welcomed.
Cheers

Re: vs Skyline - GTS I Think
Wow - thats probably one of the best threads I have seen on a car forum in 3 years! Its great to get a bit of credit for the MR2 for once rather than the usual idiots looking at the low spec coupe's and thinking thats the only engine they came in. Especially when it comes from a Skyline owner! Fair ...

Re: Best Colour 92 - 94
Zircon blue all the way - makes the car look classy as well as sexy. Its also a very low maintenance colour. I have only polished mine 2 times in nearly 3 years because I was bored. It keeps a glass finish all through the year.

Re: Poor head lights visibility
Dukey Sorrry for the delay....forgot I posted about the lights! Yes they are better - I still find that other cars I have driven have better lights but I think its because we sit lower to the road. However the new ones have taken away the scary blindness that my old ones gave me - well worth £12.99 ...

Yeah - its done on an exchange basis - i found them a year ago on a bored evening at uni. They are quite pricey like that but you can do it yourself. I know of a place that chrome plates plastic now.

Thats an awesome looking car mate - very very different and looks like a right animal! What size are the wheels on it at the moment in the picture and are they coming over?

Re: Poor head lights visibility
I got fed up with my lack of visibility last night and bought some new ones today. I got them from Halfords today as they are buy 1 get 1 free. They are Halfords Super Brilliance (Gold packet) £12.99 on that offer for the pair. Havent driven it yet but against the garage the new ones are whiter and ...
