Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Pedal Boxes and Balance Bars
Doesn't that require a balance bar?

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Pedal Boxes and Balance Bars
Ah, much cheaper options, though the pedal box will also replace my (probably) aging master cylinder. Would this be an option: http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorsport/brake-proportioning-valves/wilwood-brake-proportioning-valve-screw-knob-adjustment I'd like to control it remotely too, so maybe som...

[Mk2] [Generic] Pedal Boxes and Balance Bars
Can't seem to find much info on here, but has anyone successfully installed a pedal box into an MR2 Mk2? I want a brake balance control system, and everything seems to suggest getting a pedal box with the master cylinders behind the pedals. I guess this would mean a complete brake overhaul in terms ...

That sounds well, beyond my skill level

Cheers, I'll take a look at those as an option too.

[Mk2] [Generic] Aero Catches and a Front Bumper
Has anyone ever fitted a front bumper using only aero catches? I have a few plans for the 2 which would make it very low at the front, and having ripped the bumper off mine loading it onto a trailer, I'd quite like to make the bumper easy to remove, whilst not fearing it will fall off at 100mph (on ...

Re: TPMS - Tyre Pressure Monitoring System
Cheers Peter
Out of interest, was it relatively easy to take it apart to mount in a custom dash?

Re: whats the best quick release boss kits for mr2 sw20
I have a D1 Spec like the one in the link only mine is blue: http://www.epracing.co.uk/Interior-Accessories/Quick-Release/D1-Spec-Steering-Wheel-Quick-Release-Red/p-1020-1021-142/ They do make the steering wheel stick out to an annoying point where you can't easily reach the stalks, but I still like...

Re: Syvecs s6 Boost control help
I'm sure you could go in and lower the boost, but in my (very black & white) mind, if you lower the boost, then the mixture will go richer. Better than leaner, but I'd always prefer to have the map checked at different levels of boost.

Re: Syvecs s6 Boost control help
Do you have multiple maps on the ECU? I know that when Ryan mapped my Syvecs, he left me with a map @ 1, 1.2, 1.5 and 1.7 bar (and also one at 1.7 bar with TC off).

I've gone for the XS, very neat piece of kit and isolates ground from the battery instead of live
Very neat, but also very expensive.... Think I'll sort a few other things before buying one of those

Re: Wiring an FIA Kill switch
Mega old thread I know, but shows I'm using the search function
When wiring a kill switch and mounting it on the dash, do I need to extend the main lead from the battery into the cabin?
As I ask the question it sounds obvious...
What gauge cable should I use?

I used black for engine bay and clear everywhere else on Craig's car.

Was mine mark 1 then?

Re: The Green Hornet
I was thinking about wiring and couple of resistors to a switch to feedback to the ac system to trick it into thinking it was really cold or really hot and just have a hot /cold toggle. Very primitive.....

Re: The Green Hornet
I'm sure you've read this, but if not, this is from the BGB regarding the Heater controls: EDIT - removed it because it looks a mess. I can repost it if you haven't already got it. Had a look at the wiring diagram and to my uneducated mind, it looks fairly straight forward. I must be missing somethi...

Re: The Green Hornet
Sounds perfect. The fact that I have had to Google hysteresis suggests that the task is likely to be beyond me, though I can be very resourceful.... I have a couple of spare heater controls and was planning to reverse engineer it. I'll still have a look and let you know what I find. As for the cage,...

Re: The Green Hornet
Hi Ash, I haven't tried going direct yet. To be honest, I'm a little bit put off since sitting in a car with the cage fitted, though I was too fat to properly fit into any of the seats that they had fitted at Rogue, so I might be able to squish a bit lower.... I need to take another look at seating ...

Re: The Green Hornet
In the world of the indecisive, it seems that plans have once again changed. Having visited Rogue to test fit myself in a caged MR2, it seems that either I, or the MR2, is an odd shape (probably the former). Also, even if I can resolve the space issue, I won't get a Rogue cage for at least 8 weeks. ...
