they will come back. its a heat-related fault, it just gets worse and worse. I used to only get it during long plays (xbox would freeze) then one day BAM it never worked again.

hey chaps, my rev3 tubby is going in to Pacific Works next week to fit a TD06 kit, upgraded fuelling, and PowerFC. It currently sports a chargecooler, decat, exhaust, cold plugs and EBC. I'm a little concerned about the clutch. At the moment running ~270bhp and similar torque it is absolutely fine, ...

Basically its an MR2 Turbo platform with a new fiberglass body. All of the old metal body is removed and a new tubular frame and roll cage gets added. The car still retains all of the MR2 's floorplan, suspension etc, all of the creature comforts and its original mid engined trans box rwd layout. B...

trouble is how much it costs vs the USA. its really expensive here.
also, its £700 quid for a kit here - which would get you intercooler, decat, boost controller....

so hang on, are you saying that the MR2 hub is bigger than the hole in the wheel?
if so, the only thing you could do would be to get them machined a bit wider i guess?

too wide at the front, and you will need spigot rings too as the MR2 centre bore is 60.1mm

in response to the original poster, unless you go for an Elise a VX220, or a stripped out car like an Integra Type-R or Megane R26.R I would put a tuned MR2 turbo among the MOST interesting and "eventful" cars to drive. I mean drive a fast BMW, Audi (zzzz), Subaru or VW and they are just s...
