Re: Weird knocking sound I cannot diagnose...
That's interesting... I had both new yellow billies on the front of mine replaced under guarantee within the first 18 mths or so because they did the same thing... piston moves sideways in the strut and starts 'knocking' accordingly. Are they under guarantee still fella? Nah mine are Bilstein Coilo...

Re: Weird knocking sound I cannot diagnose...
Right, is definitely the damper as I got the front of the car off the ground and put a bar under the tyre and lifted - the piston and body of the damper knocked.
Oh well, have spoken to Bilstein and a refurb of the fronts has been booked in .

[Mk2] [Turbo] Fitting oil temp and pressure gauge...sensor where?
Hi. Am going to soon fit an oil temp and pressure gauge to my tubby and was wondering the best method to connect the sensors. Im a little worried about the sandwich plate method as I don't want leaks so....where would I connect a oil pressure / temp bracket (some peeps have mentioned a t-piece - thi...

Yes, completely all tight. Was the first thing I thought of . I made a recorded video of it when driving back home. Will try to get it uploaded so you can have a listen.

Re: Weird knocking sound I cannot diagnose...
Cheers for the replys guys. Would the ball joints cause it to knock badly apart from when cornering though? It literally sounds like a metal peg clonking in a bigger hole hence me thinking it was top mounts ir ARB bushes. I wouldn't be surprised as my suspension is quite hard and they were changed 4...

Weird knocking sound I cannot diagnose...
Mooooorning! Right, I have a weird knocking from what sounds like the front left corner. Symptoms are: Knocking/rattle when going over any bumps but almost fully disappears if going around any corner (roundabouts, junctions etc). Gets less noticeable the faster in going - very occasional when at mot...

Re: Forza Motorsport 4
Maybe yes. I'm just going by the car list that turn 10 is updating every week. So far, no mk3 :(. To be honest, I'd be surprised if it isn't in it - even if it's just the Rogue version. I know that there are blatant missing cars like the S2000 and 350z for example aren't in it - maybe a tuner car pa...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] tuning guide....
You say it has done 5 miles since a full rebuild...wont be run in yet :). Course it will feel dull and slow as the ring wont have bedded in properly yet lol. Do your first 500 miles SLOWLY and change the oil then another 1000 miles driving a little faster, change the oil then think about tuning. Aft...
