Would you expect the turbo to fail almost definitely at this stage, or could one be in luck?

Refurbing fake split rims is an issue as you can't get a decent polished finish on the lip.I resorted to having the whole thing powder coated which didn't last.

I had one in my rev3. worked great and looked very neat in dual pillar pod with matching oil pressure gauge.

Use the money to sort out the paintwork niggles and you'll have more interest i reckon.

Lots of cursing to be had getting the oil and water feeds off!
