Ok Cheers. FYI The Mk2 does also has stagger.

Doesn't look like I can get 205/55/r14 so I'll look out for some 15s

Re: New owner: Winter tyres, Stagger and 14 inch wheels?

You think dropping the stagger to 10mm will cause a big issue? I've a MK1 with a 2zz engine so I'm used to oversteer on power but I guess your talking lift off oversteer?

New owner: Winter tyres, Stagger and 14 inch wheels?

Picked myself up an X reg SMT yesterday for winter use while the MK1 hibernates, I've a couple of questions about wheels and tyres if anybodies got any advice. I'd like to fit winter tyres, I've a spare pair of 14 inch BBS in the garage will 14 fit over the brakes? How do people feel about the stagg...

Re: Front Wings

Haven't got the exact figure but I've just had a new front wing for around £120 +vat

I've got a good used passenger side one going spare but for the price I just got a new one.

Re: turbo or supercharger

My experience:
Modded 4-age easier to insure
2zz more efficient. and cheaper to replace should I ever suffer any kind of engine failure.

Re: K20A Rallycross Mk1 build

Hi Paul I know a K20A would be a very technical install but it'd out class the 2zz while still maintaining the Mk1ness and handling. Think about it, in JDM form 200+BHP and 150+lb/ft ok so still not comparable with the 1MZ vvt but would have been my first choice if the install was manageable. How di...

Re: Superb fuel economy

I will say I do normally get much better economy. About 250 miles from a tank if I'm having a bit of fun and up to 270 if driving carefully I do always fill up when the light comes on normally about 33 litres to fill So about 35-37mpg. I'm very happy with that and love having 190bhp on tap when I wa...
