I think I would have removed the engine and gearbox as one. Then you can put the engine pointing vertically upwards and then lower the gearbox onto it. Not quite sure why Lauren descided not toremove the gearbox
I really can't understand all the confusion
Looking back at this:
It appears the big end bearings are part number: 13041-16071-0X where X is the class.
Well things are progressing with this fledgling plan :thumleft: However it's now probably going to be a ZZ30, normally aspirated this year and hopefully turbocharged next year. I really do need to scratch this trackday itch, it's been too long for me without a trackcar  And Tom's tip for ...
I got the kit with one body. Not really much to show pics wise as I haven't got around to doing anything with the body yet. Planning to do it as a replica of the sprint car but need to plan how to do the graphics before I start. It's one of those 'back burner' projects at the moment. I did put some...
No it's not the same. You could get yours refurbished or buy a refurbished replacement. You could ask Lauren, her fiancee has a fully rebuilt one ready to go, I am guessing he would sell it at the right price. I also have a spare SC alternator but it's not refurbished. It was working fine but I'm re...
.......I noticed the green SC light remained on ........ .......Also a couple of extra lights on the dash have come on, what looks like a battery light and possibly the engine management light? Hi Zac, welcome to the forum. It's obviously an ECU fault or it's wiring as the green light is simply dri...
I desperately miss trackdays and my SC  Early days but here's a fledgling plan I am hatching (or at least thinking about hatching): 1) Buy a reasonable condition running MOTed Mk1 MR2 NA for this trackday season and do at least Cadwell and Anglesey this year. 2) Buy a spare engine, strip it dow...
Just got a quote from Toyota for a load of parts but must have got Timing Belt number wrong as there's no price against it Number I gave them was Y13568-19145
Could someone tell me what the correct part number is and how much it is currently?
Ta
Tom
Yes Neil and do you know how frustrating it is knowing your car is less than 500m from my house and despite all the work I've done on it I've never been out in it on full boost. Come on Neil  , come on over and take me for a blast around the Eccleshall circuit :thumleft: , it's a top...
Engine dis-assemble has already started, Towed the car to my old work on Monday where one of the lads there is stripping it apart after hours for me. Crikey, only just found out you are in Loggerheads (where I am). That's the kind of stuff I could have helped you with advice or whatever, I've done ...
Actually all I need for the O ring is the internal diameter and the cross section. I am sure it is probably a standard metric O ring, hope someone can help
I'd really appreciate it if someone could look these up for me because I really don't want to order the wrong parts and the local Toyota dealer isn't that local to me. I need an o ring and a gasket that fits here towards the top of the picture: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v284/icsunonove/C3%20...
Well, for others reference, on a Mk2 turbo with a normalish size electric drill there is just about enough room to get in to do this, but you need the drill bit as short as possible.
Right, just off to modify my brand new 10.8mm drill bit
