I did think black at first but i saw a red mr2 pic on here with a white trd logo in mesh, and liked it. Thought i'd do opposite with white car and red logo.
As for number plate might use an illegal small bike type one and hope the old bill in this area don't mind.

[Mk2] [Turbo] My Border bumper and trd logo mesh pics
Recently bought a 2nd hand border front bumper from imoc member "prosser" it needed a little work. I've done a bit of filling (some more to do), but the best bit is the mesh with trd logo i made for it. What people reckon? Bumper won't be fitted for a few mths as i'm waiting for better wea...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Show me your samco's
Yep there are 3 kits, i've read somewhere the ancillary kit is a bit of waste of money as it contains hoses you don't really see that well.
Someone on here must have a pic of the turbo hose kit fitted so i can see what is included.

[Mk2] [Turbo] Show me your samco's
Has anyone got any pics of samco's fitted to a rev3+ turbo, i'm looking to buy the samco turbo kit TCS69/2. I've seen a pic of the rev 1+2 kit on the samco site and am guessing you get same hoses in the later model kit. Where do they all go? The large one is obvious, but i was hoping to get the long...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Xs Intercooler ordered....what else do i need in order to fit
Thanks i'll be sure to get some of them washers prior to fitting. I've just ordered my hoses from autoperformance silicone hoses on ebay, got the 63-51mm and 70mm-60mm (this one might be a hard fit) and some hose clamps. All in the xs power i/c kit, spal fan, shroud, reducers and clamps has cost me ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Xs Intercooler ordered....what else do i need in order to fit
Had a read thro the post has alot of info, it covers a couple of different kits one xs power kit and one which seems to have all correct bits in. From reading i gather i need : 1-off reducer 63mm to 51mm 1-off reducer 70mm to 63mm And either 60-80mm hose clips or 68-73 mikalor clamps. Is this correc...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Xs Intercooler ordered....what else do i need in order to fit
I bought a xs power intercooler last night and have today ordered the gtschris backing shroud and spal fan ready for when it arrives. From reading many posts there is mixed opinions on this kit all bad views point to hoses clips and some pipe missing. As i got the i/c for £124 inc deivery its gonna ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] What should my 0-6 times be?
Should be running a low 5sec to 60mph with them mods and a good launch, i ran a 5.1 on my performance meter with similar mods to you. If you get a bad launch too much spin in 1st usually end up with a late 5sec run. Its not easy to get the perfect run especially as the roads are getting slippery thi...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Which EBC is the best value for money?
I've got a greddy profec B Spec II, and am pretty happy with it. This can be purchased from uk for £205 from japerformance.co.uk or bit cheaper from japan but will have to wait weeks for delivery. Its pretty easy to use it does seem to vary boost a bit depending on weather but i've not tried any oth...

Nice one that will save you a tidy sum, i think the greddy one is a wireless remote that straps onto steering wheel. But can't why this wouldn't be just as good with some clever locating hiding the wiring.
Think i'll be going for the cheaper option now i've got the install instuctions.
Many thanx

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Which induction kit?
Arc super induction box... you can get them from nengun peformance for around £200 inc delivery. May take a few weeks to arrive but they certainly look the part.
You won't get any noticable power gains but the its sounds pretty damn good when the turbo starts winding up.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Greddy Profec ebc fitted......What a great mod!!!
The tvsv pipes are plugged off but i've not dis-connected the electrical conector. (From reading other posts i gather this works). I'm pretty sure acheiving full boost in 1st and 2nd would result in quicker overall times...as long as the launch is still good. Obvioulsy other factors will aid my impr...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Greddy Profec ebc fitted......What a great mod!!!
Have had my greddy ebc fitted for a little over a week now, eventually got it set nicely. Low setting running at 0.9bar and high is 1.0bar. Gave it a test run on my performance meter... previously i had been running 13.84 1/4 mile with 0-60 in 5.9. On low boost i ran a 5.62 to 60 and a 13.53 1/4 mil...

Thanx guys for the links and piccy's.
I'm confident now in fitting my boost controller once it arrives, and i'm sure other people will find this post useful as all info is in one place.
One final pic showing tvsv location :

From looking at the pics in linked topic i'm pretty certain i've got my photo the same as you. (apart from the quality of the photo).
Should be simple install apart from all the hiding of wiring, and no doubt i've got to extend it.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Boost gauge and ebc fitting question.
Is this picture i've done correct for the plumbing in of a boost controller, namely my greddy ebc thats arriving shortly. Just want to be sure before i go cutting or removing pipes. http://a5.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/19/l_4d98326bd854bf04c09249a4dcd6fcc4.jpg If this is correct which i hope ...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Boost gauge and ebc fitting question.
I've recently ordered a pillar pod and boost gauge and also a greddy profec ebc. When i fit boost gauge am i right in thinking i t-into the pipe in pic below: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v326/jimbob_uk20/B_b1.jpg Am guessing ebc will also need a boost signal so do i plumb into this same pipe s...

Well i don't like the sound of pooing thro a straw. Think i set my sights a little lower on the power i hope to achieve.
With regard to an ebc will fueling etc automatically adjust to compensate any boost increase. Is it as straight forward as wire it all up and away you go... extra boost.
