[Mk2] [Turbo] Its amazing what a bit of polishing does
Have been polishing up a spare hard pipe i recently bought from a member on here. Will be fitting it shortly and will have my original one which i might do same to and put it up for sale. Pic below of what it looks like, should look nice along side my blue samco's and other i/c piping. http://a768.a...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Rev4 turbo buying advice
It looks very nice, mine was that shiny when i got it.(makes me think it needs a damn good polish). I have to agree on the price issue thou. I only paid £3950 for my rev4 from a private sale and this was approx 8mths ago.
Also agree with exhaust comment, but berk is the way forward

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Question On Fitting Border Spats
Thanks, i've now got a whole border kit just waiting to be trial fitted prior to paint. I'm sure i'm gonna have plenty more stubborn bolts to contend with when i get round to removing the front bumper.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Question On Fitting Border Spats
Some close up pics would be handy, pretty sure mine won't go on with the originals in place. One side is better than other but is leaving some pretty big gaps that would need extra material adding to spats to give good fit. I'll have to take off toyota ones at weekend and see if its any better.

[Mk2] [Generic] Question On Fitting Border Spats
Do you need to remove the existing rear bumper extensions in order to fit border rear spats.
I've offered mine up over existing bumper with extensions on and the fit dosen't look great. I'm hoping that removing the orignal ones will solve the fitting issues i've got. Answer anyone?

[All] [Generic] Leaving feedback after selling/buying may require site admin fix
I've just left some feedback from a previous sale off member prosser, i was meant to leave postive but hadn't click box or something and its ended up as neutral.
Is there anyway i can change this to positive or does it have to be done by site admin people.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] samco hoses full kit need pics
You will also need to remove one of the hose nozzle bits that are in your existing black toyota hose, as the samco hose only has one bonded to it already.
I'd get a couple of new jubliee clips (70-90mm) as well if your going to buy this hose.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] samco hoses full kit need pics
I got mine from fensport and its the same one for all revisions. You just have to block of the biggest hole for rev's 3+. I turned up a aluminium bung at work that is a nice fit and secured it with a jubilee clip. I'm unsure of the part number it was on the bag that pipe came in (now in bin) if you ...

I've got a fair few samco's in my engine bay now. I only bought the air intake to turbo one, got all the others as either ready cut lengths or longer lengths which i cut myself.

[Mk2] [Turbo] Raybrigs and Philips diamondvision xenon bulbs
Have just had my raybrigs delivered today, had bought some philips diamondvision bulbs previously which even with standard lights give off a very bright white/blue light. Think i'm gonna be blinding people once the raybrigs are in as well. I will have to get some pics up once fitted so people can se...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Exhaust choice
Push the boat out and buy new, i got a Berk exhaust (£400) and am well happy with the look, sound and quality of the exhaust.
There are plenty of video clips on youtube of them fitted so you can have a look and listen.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Pics of latest mod's
I got all hoses off ebay, got 1m of 13mm i/d and 1m of 16mm i/d. These suit the 2 which come of the big black one which goes from filter to turbo. Also got some straight 3" lgths to replace xspower i/c ones (was blue but bit cheap looking) and the arc filter one which used to be green. Then i g...
