Offset

I dont agree with what has been said im afraid. I've got Advan AVS 5's on my rear in the following size: 9.5jx18 I've got coilovers and I beleieve the arches have been rolled a bit but not by that much and they fit fine. They are dead flush with the arch and dont scrub the k-sport coilovers on the r...

1.2 bar

I'd run it at 1.2bar Pretty well documented that this is ok running the mods you have on your car. Just make sure its 1.2 bar for definite by looking at your boost guage. Not like you have the CAT in it still or anything so should be fine at 1.2 bar. I have similar mods all be it that i run a charge...

air

Well the more air you can flow over/through the intercooler the better to be honest. Having said that though once your moving I would have thought that the fan would add little to the air movement so you are only really going to notice big differences if you spend a lot of time sat not moving and wh...

really?

You might need an uprated fuel pump but 320 fwhp is probably possible if its all healthy, at 1.2 bar. I don't necessarily think he will. If he is going to put the dastek on there then by all accounts he will end up leaning the fuel mixture off as a result so assuming the injectors are healthy he sh...

same as me

i do not currently have the one-way valve that's needed Yea and at £42 from Toyota you probably wont be getting one any time soon either. I'm running the standard BOV on my rev 3 and I too have snapped this valve and have thus simply run without it. What I get is the BOV working fine under full loa...

agreed

I agree,

Lights illuminating on the dash at speed was something i had on one of my old cars when the alternator was on the way out.

Go to Halfrauds and get them to do a voltage check off the alternator and see what its coming back with.

Mobile

Actually,

See if you can find one of these mobile mechanics who specialise in vehicle electronics. I found one in my local yellow pages and he fixed it for me without getting a new one. They dont have to be an MR2 specialist - in the end an alternator is an alternator!

Weekend

Just sorted this on a friends car over the weekend. There is a big nut the other side of the bar which the arrow points to (can't be seen in the pic). Make sure this is done up tightly as this can losen. You will then getting front/back movement when the car pulls away + stops and nothing when the c...

Clutch

Its a lengthy process to be honest with you mate so 6 hours is feasible. They need to drop the engine off three of its mounts to get the engine out the bottom of the car sufficiently to get the gearbox off the side of it so its not an easy job. £700 sounds like a lot though. Clutch should be less th...

tramlining

I have 17's on the front of mine with fairly wide 225/40/17 and they don't feel too bad provided the car has been correctly set up in terms of its geometry. You need to take it to someone who rally knows about MR2 geometry and not just some independent laser tracking type place. I have recently been...
