Re: Fitting rougue headlights

Have you got the official instructions? I can email them to you if not.

My biggest tip would be to make sure you fit the M6 threaded bar that stops the lights bouncing up and down when raised.

That's the result of the antiquated forum software with an overly restrictive character set on the URL validation. You can't even force it with URL BB code

Re: Induction kit/cone filter

Con filters are not necessarily going to give you power but, especially if you replace all the rubber pipework and resonators, they can give you an awesome noise to make you grin!

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Throttle body replacement

The difference is in what bolts up to the throttle body (ST205 has a rubber sock, SW20 has a metal tube), not the TB itself. They are also supported against the valve cover slightly differently. :thumleft:

245/40/17 would be oversize anyway... why do you want to put the rear on stilts?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Using Aircon pipework for water intercooler.

Stock aircon condensors tend to be shot by now anyway, but even a new one is probably not going to do as cool a job as a purpose built charge cooler pre rad. There's also other parts of the aircon system that you'd want to by-pass (evaporator, heat exchanger etc) so it's not as simple as hooking up ...

Re: MK2 getting stuck on snowy incline starts

What tyres are you running? Unless you're running a proper winter or all season tyre then you're fighting a losing battle on snow and ice anyway. The vast majority of tyres sold in the UK are summer tyres and then people wonder why they have big issues on the couple of days a year when it does snow.

Re: BREAKING MR2 TURBO REV2 LOTS OF MODS IN THE NEAR FUTURE

I'm looking for a pair of lsd hubs and lsd passenger side drive shaft Hubs aren't different for LSD/non-LSD. They are different ABS/non-ABS. The driveshafts are different for ABS/non-ABS as well as LSD/non-LSD. I've heard it's possible to swap the ABS ring onto non-ABS shafts to convert them though.

Re: Mk3 and tall people

I drove another owner's ZZW30 at JAE a year or two back. I really "got" the appeal of the car, but at 6'4" and long in body, fitting was markedly tighter than an SW20. If I were looking to buy one it would be extremely boarderline on space alone. Of course YMMV.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Twin Scroll Turbos

Why wouldn't it work? The CT26 and CT20b are both twin scroll so, with the right adaptor on the stock manifold, why would there be a problem? Sure the stock manifold isn't equal length so it's slightly sub-optimal, but surely it's still going to be beneficial? Ebay special adaptor here: https://www....
