I think it's putting the Ferarri badge on that gets to a lot of people. I mean if you want a bodykit that makes your car look more like a Ferarri then fair enough, but badging it up as something it isn't seems a bit silly.
Seats look really nice mate. Looks like they have made a really good job. You see so many seats that have been redone in leather where the leather is so loose it looks rubbish.
Yeah, I had the same problem. Managed to get the passenger side door open, start the car from there, get the heaters on, and eventually pushed the drivers side door open from the inside. Took a while to get it to open though.
Looks a really nice example. Lots of paperwork. Low miles. Good mods carried out by a respectable garage and the best colour (in my opinion). Wouldn't let the number of owners put you off. A lot of people buy jap performance cars because of their low price and then realise they can't afford to run t...
If you want rid of the car then please sell it, don't break it. So many good MR2's getting broken these days. I would have thought members of an owners club would be the least likely to break a car, and be wanting to keep as many of the cars on the road a possible. Hope you decide to keep the car an...
Have always preferred the tubby engine lids, but the chances of getting a carribean blue one are probably slim, and I don't really want to be getting things sprayed at the moment. Alloy wheel brush doesn't sound like a bad idea; should be able to get at the muck a bit better with that. Stupid bloody...
My engine lid has become filthy due to seed buds dropping out a tree and falling thoroug the gaps, marking the tray underneath. Anyone have any tips on how to properly clean this part of the engine lid, as pouring water through doesn't seem to be having much of an effect and I can't squeeze a spunge...
Seems a shame to break a good car that just needs a few things doing to get it through the MOT. I would probably get the things done, then sell it with a full 12 months MOT. I know prices are not great at the moment, but you should definitely walk away with a good bit more cash than the 200-300 it's...
I know you say you've had cars with no power steering before, but if they were small hatchbacks then there's a hell of a difference. My old fiesta didn't have power steering and to be honest it didn't need it, but with a big heavy car like an MR2 with wide tyres you really do need it when parking / ...
