Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Clock and power side mirrors dead? (and stereo)

Sorted, will leave the post up as it may help someone else, it was the RAD CIG fuse in the drivers side footwell fuse box, replaced it and sorted \:D/

[Mk2] [Turbo] Clock and power side mirrors dead? (and stereo)

Just had the steering rack done at a local garage and it's come back with the internal clock for the time showing nothing and the power side mirrors are similarly dead, I've checked the fuse box at the front and I can't see anything blown, suggestions please? Just checked the battery and connections...

Re: Replacing stock REV5 wheels with new - what suits beige/champagne?

Thanks for the input guys this is how it sits now, not so sure how much I like it but it looks better than the very worn stock wheels at least! Any suggestions on PSI running 17s? I took it out last night and it drives fine albeit a bit of wobble between 60/70 at times (fine above/below) it had new ...

Re: Replacing stock REV5 wheels with new - what suits beige/champagne?

Thanks, this is on stock suspension, I'm worried about it looking like a tractor if I don't lower it  30mm like the Apex I'm worried is "not low enough" Teins sound like a crashy nightmare 40mm (such as spax) sounds like it might be too much for stock suspension! Input definitely appr...

Thanks for the tip, been reading up and they sound a nightmare!

I'll look at the 30mm springs, and others :)

Re: Replacing stock REV5 wheels with new - what suits beige/champagne?

Wheels obtained!

8j +32 - 215/40/17 front

9j +38 - 245/40/17 rear

Looking at dropping the height with tein springs when the wheels get fitted, what does everyone think, likely to rub?

Re: Replacing stock REV5 wheels with new - what suits beige/champagne?

Great discussions guys thanks, I'm just taking my time and seeing what's out there, regarding 17s ruining the handling, perhaps this may be the case, but I'll take the looks option this time and go with the bigger rims :)

Re: [FINALIZED] Works VS ZF Wheels

Interested.

+30 on the front seems a touch low, I presume these were fitted to a 2 before you got them? Do you know if there were any issues?

Refurb costs a small concern also.

If I sell yes, I'm not sure what state they're in tbh, could they be refurbed? Probably, but they've absolutely seen better days

Re: Replacing stock REV5 wheels with new - what suits beige/champagne?

Work wheels are easy to get - just give Driftworks £1000 or so, tell them which spec you want, and a couple months later they'll turn up at your door! Any reason you want to go for a brand new set? There's loads of great wheels on the 2nd hand market. Tatty sets are cheaper, and as long as they are...

Replacing stock REV5 wheels with new - what suits beige/champagne?

Any suggestions all? I've been looking at rota Grid / D1, everything else seems to be an utter pain to get the right size / widths  Work emotion D9Rs look great and I think would suit well, but again, pain to get ](*,) Here's how it sits now, I was thinking 17s as I don't want to ruin the ride...

Toyota world, Bristol were very good actually. Annoyingly you get what you pay for, they took the tyre off to check for water inside, rebalanced wheels too. Wont be buying the rack from them however, as its OVER £1050! Bought one for £25 on ebay and will get it reconditioned for £125. Seems to be t...

Hmm, thanks for the tip, ive been to a smaller company before and they did a cheap job, but the paintwork flakes off if you sneeze near it, I assume I won't get the same from here...!

http://www.touchnottingham.com/business ... id/4810037 them?
