Re: Cheaper alternative to AD08?

I fitted Eagle F1s on the rear, they are better than the old T1r's i used to run, especially in the wet.

Breather pipes and oil vapor

Where does the other one go, it’s a little difficult to follow. Is it okay to have these venting to the atmosphere via a little ...

Re: Fitting turbo blankets.

Unfortunately i have not taken the car out for a drive yet. I will be out this weekend and will report back.

I hope it does help the engine bay temp as after cutting the standard hear shield back to fit the new turbo its definitely hotter, especially when sitting.

Re: Fitting turbo blankets.

I already had the blanket, it was a DEi one, it just had not come with any wire to fix it in place.

Purchased some wire from ebay off a comany selling the PtP ones.

Re: Brands hatch june evening, anyone interested?

Re: Fitting turbo blankets.

That makes sense, the blanket i have has not got any wire included unfortunately. Is this normal wire or does it also have to be heat resistant?

Fitting turbo blankets.

I have a blanket ready to go on to my new turbo as I had to cut the standard shield back.

What the best way to secure them for a nice fit, the blanket has securing hooks.
