Resolved. Idle Control Valve gunked up bigtime, cleaned and it runs perfectly .

Thanks for the reply. Further tests today suggest that the engine seems to cut out if I boot it, pull the clutch in and let the revs drop... rather than the revs dropping back to idle they get to a point where they are so low and the engine simply stops. Only seems to happen under high acceleration/...

Here some more info after further tests carried out today. Hi all, Of late I appear to have an issue where by if I boot it and reach approximately 5 - 6k revs and then let the revs drop, as the revs decrease the engine dies. The lights on the dash come on as though I have just turned the ignition on. Checked Error Codes and seem to get 21 which would relate...

Fuse had gone, problem resolved.

Something to do with shorting something out within the heater controls. Apparently the radiator circuit runs off the same circuit as the heaters, and if the heaters get shorted out the rad comes on as a precaution.
