Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Extended Wheel Studs
Thanks for the link KrisB. (Mine are also +20mm) They look the best I've seen, and certainly seem pretty similar to the design of the originals. Have you fitted yours yet - did they go in ok? I think I'll give the file a whirl and see how I get on. If I'm not happy with the result I think the ones y...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Extended Wheel Studs
That's a pretty good call Shamus.

I might give that a whirl.
It's daft to think it's necessary really but it's better than splitting a hub

Anyone else have any experience with this?
Cheers,
Iain

[Mk2] [Turbo] Extended Wheel Studs
Hi All, I need some help with extended wheelstuds! I've bought some recently and they appear a little different around the spline/shoulder region.. Instead of having a little taper into the spline like the originals there's just a step. The splined section is a little longer as well. I've tried fitt...

Re: my mr355 replica
Wow, you've done well to get that done in 29 days - hats off to you! Mine's taken 3yrs so far, but then I'm only able to do the odd bit here and there... ](*,) Good to hear that the sills may be getting a revamp as well. I've got original Ferrari wheels to go on too - just need to get one refurbed f...

Re: my mr355 replica
I agree with comments made here.. and I do sincerely think there's a parallel between 355 kits, and bomex, Erubini or TRD replica stuff. Most of the parallels are making your car look like something else, and investing alot of blood, sweat and tears not to mention £££'s to make it come together! And...

Re: my mr355 replica
Nik, I have a 355 rep too. I seldom post on here because of the type of replies that come the way of folk that modify an MR2 - even though just about every car on here is modified in some way... :-k Somehow a TRD rep is better than a 355 rep despite equal amounts of time, effort, £ and filler! The f...

Re: Apexi Coilovers - Assistance required
Thanks for that Matty, I remember seeing a post which had mentioned you were running apexi's. Looks like I'm in for a firm ride then, oo-er missus 8-[ Which way is the off centre you referred to? If you open up the bonnet and stand in front of the car, is the top nut on the strut body inside of cent...

Re: Apexi Coilovers - Assistance required
Crikey, softest damper setting it is then.. Good to know, thanks! What size tires are you using? Mine were an e-bay special. I don't really know how they'll be until I get rolling, but they seem ok for starters. What I'd like to see is how the top mounts look on the fronts. A pic from under ...

Apexi Coilovers - Assistance required
Hi Folks, I'm just in the process of fitting some Apexi N1 pro coilovers to my MR2 Turbo. Does anyone on the forum have these fitted? Mine have apexi top mounts, and I'm not sure which way they should face. The four bolt configuration at the front means they could face either way (in the left-right ...
