Re: [FINALIZED] 1996 Rev 3 turbo Track car
Found my receipt for some parts.
In feb 2008 it had,
Cam belt
Two Tensioners
Idler pulley
Clutch
Fuel filter
Denso iridium plugs
Has done very little mileage since then so belt would be due again in 2 years if it was to be changed every 6 years.
Thanks

Not sure but probably not much more than standard. If I get the screamer pipe done next week I may take it for a power run to confirm. Would you have any ideas on power?

1996 Rev 3 turbo Track car
Hi, I'm very reluctantly placing this car for sale. Sadly due to a mixture of not having the space and being self employed and not very busy i could do with freeing up the money it is worth. Please don't read this as "Desperate for cash" and offer me pennies as i just won't be letting it g...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] ST205 Chargecooler Installation Guide (non 56k friendly)
If you search for "flow switch" on google/eBay you may find some that could be fitted to your pipe work. This could then be wired to a light fitted somewhere to show if water is flowing.

Re: More Fuel You (N/A Rev 5)
You know they don't refine their own fuel don't you???
They just bulk buy it from the big companies such as BP, Shell, etc.
Tesco fuel is just as good as any other, but cheaper.

A guy on here called slipping clutch is in the process of fitting some. Can't remember if they're genuine or copies though. Look good in the flesh.

[Mk2] [Turbo] Idle control valve
Hi,
The idle control valve, left hand side of the engine bay fixed to the boot wall. Should this have a vacuum hose linked to the inlet manifold attached to it?
Thanks
Bri

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Air in Coolant?
Regarding the bleed on the rad.
Mine needed some wide pliers on it to turn it. Also had to be unscrewed a few turns before anything came out.

If it's a rev 3 you need to be looking for a ct20b turbo not a 26.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Gt3076 plus external wastegate piping.
Will be running wastegate spring pressure for a short while then probably EBC. Spring is 0.8 bar I believe.
I'll probably tap into the pipe before the charge cooler core. If tial don't recommend vacuum being put on the diaphragm then maybe I should listen.
Thanks for the input everybody.
