Random - Does engine block fit in boot?
My 98 square edge block is finished at the machine shop. however i wanted to take the 2 out for its final drive before i sorn/build the engine.
any ideas if a bare block will fit in the boot? sadly i didnt think to take measurements before dropping it to the machine shop in my daily.

Well got an hour on the car today and noticed my boot floor was wet. Pulled out the liner and went to work on finding the leak. Ran a hose over the car until I saw drips. Ended up being one of the spoiler holes. So I got to work removing the plastic spoiler (all 3 parts) https://i.imgur.com/1W6Dixs....

You can take signal right from the dizzy for COP. That's how mine is set up. The issues I've have with coils/igniters/dizzys and ignition leads in the past I was certain I wanted to make the change. Not a big job at all but as you said not necessary until silly power. ahh ok, i figured most people ...

There wasn't at the time. The fault ended up being a mixture of leaky ECU caps and a rusty fuel tank.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Catch can/breather
I ditched the pcv on mine, blanked off the hole in the intake mani and ran both cam cover lines to a catch can. Catch can is vented currently but means there's always a fine oily residue around that part of the engine bay. Either need to baffle the can better or run a drain to the block like the oe...
